NEW YOUTUBE CHANNEL

During the lockdown I’ve decided to create my own YOUTUBECHANNEL. These videos were created with lots of love for children to learn new songs and vocabulary in both Greek and English. On every video you can find a brand-new song and at the end of each video you can find the new vocabulary in Greek, English and Greek-lish. The lyrics and music were written by Eleni and Ariana (Eleni's eldest Asteraki) has voiced Asteraki. I you like this project please SUBSCRIBE!

The importance of Rituals and Routines at Asterakia

Toddlers experience a sense of comfort and security, and are most ready to learn, when they are able to anticipate what will happen next. The rituals and routines I provide at Asterakia help create a sense of security and order. Routines and rituals in Asterakia classes include active listening, activity transitions, vocal play, instrument play, and story time.

Eleni is an outstanding music teacher. She makes learning music fun and interesting for my two daughters, especially for a short attention span four year old by keeping them fully engaged. Her teaching style is the perfect balance of friendly and encouraging, as well as inspiring everyone to love music. I would highly recommend Eleni to any student/child fortunate enough to work with her.

About Asterakia

An award-winning fun music, movement and drama class which enables each child to learn the Greek language and experience their Greek heritage. At Asterakia we offer a range of age-related classes aimed at children starting from 2 months old up to the age of 7. Asterakia themes are a blend of everyday life with references to modern and age-old Greek customs. Every lesson is a unique adventure for our Asterakia (Little star's) as they use the medium of role play and the power of their imagination.
