Greek language development
Asterakia is fun way to learn Greek. Funny Greek Rhymes and catchy songs offer opportunities for vocabulary building. Through story time and interaction with their teacher and peers, children also develop conversation skills and the ability to speak in Greek.
Musical orientation
At Asterakia all the activities are designed to develop the vocal skills, to appreciate Classical and Greek music and to explore age appropriate musical instruments. Children also learn and discover different musical elements (soft/ loud, high/low) through different activities.
Creative approach
At Asterakia children are encouraged to be imaginative and inventive. During our movement activities children can dance expressively while exploring different musical elements, and in pretend activities they move like different animals or even baking ‘koulourakia’ (traditional biscuits).
